"Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown" exhibit visits Lake Charles, Louisiana

If you live near the City of Lake Charles in Louisiana, get into the holiday spirit by visiting the exhibit "Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown" at the Historic City Hall Arts & Cultural Center. This traveling exhibit, created by the Charles M. Schulz Museum, celebrates the Peanuts gang's long association with Christmas. It features 50 Peanuts daily and Sunday comic strips, over 50 vintage Peanuts-themed seasonal novelties, and a video featuring Charles Schulz, producer Lee Mendelson, and animator/director Bill Melendez detailing the making of the A Charlie Brown Christmas television special.

Related activities at the Historic City Hall will include a Christmas card workshop, a Santa letter writing station, and Christmas trees decorated by local organizations.

"Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown" will be at Lake Charles' Historic City Hall Arts & Cultural Center from November 5, 2011 through January 28, 2012, and admission is free. See this exhibit listing for more information.
